International law firm Bird & Bird welcomes Dr. Carsten Böhm as a new Corporate partner in Munich.
Carsten has extensive experience advising on M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions, on both a national and international level, with a focus on Tech & Comms as well as Automotive. He often represents entrepreneurs and companies, private equity firms and family offices, advising them on all phases of a transaction – from preparation and structuring through to contract negotiations, acquisition financing, roll-over/management participation and subsequent integration.
He is frequently involved in corporate succession scenarios where, in addition to legal advice, he bridges cultural and linguistic gaps between family-owned businesses and private equity funds or globally operating corporations. In addition to classic transaction work, he offers comprehensive advice on all corporate law matters such as restructurings and corporate governance.
Carsten joins from McDermott Will & Schulte, where he worked as a partner in the Transactions practice in Munich since 2010.
