AnJie Law Firm, which Hauzen LLP has been associated with since 2018, has announced its merger with Broad & Bright, another major Mainland Chinese law firm. The merged firm will have over 400 lawyers, with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Haikou City, Nanjing and Hong Kong, and combined revenue of close to US$100 million.
We are pleased to announce that AnJie Law Firm (“AnJie”) and Broad & Bright Law Firm (“Broad & Bright”) will operate officially and legally as one fully integrated law firm, which is renamed as北京安杰世泽律师事务所（“安杰世泽”） from now on, as approved by the competent authorities. We are currently going through the refiling process for the licenses and other registrations. The English name of 安杰世泽 is AnJie Broad Law Firm (“AnJie Broad”).
We, being AnJie Broad, would assure all our clients that all and any on-going legal service contracts and the other service contracts with all the rights and obligations pertained thereto, previously signed with AnJie or Broad & Bright, will all be succeeded by AnJie Broad as of the date of this Announcement. AnJie Broad will maintain its legal qualification, licenses and ability to carry on legal services for its clients, whether it is contentious or non-contentious matter. All existing clients will continuously work with the partners and the associates assigned in the previously signed the service contracts.
We would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the competent authorities, trade associations, clients and our peers for their care and support. Merger is the beginning rather than the ending. AnJie Broad will remain true to our original aspiration. And we trust that the merger will create a larger practice team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to serving the needs of our clients.
