DivinaLaw Senior Partner Atty. Richie Avigale Ramos-Pilares was among the featured industry experts at the 9th Oil & Gas Philippines Expo 2026 and the 3rd Offshore Wind Asia Expo and Conference 2026 held concurrently in Pasay City from June 17 to June 19, 2026.
During the Oil & Gas Philippines Expo, Atty. Ramos-Pilares gave a presentation titled “Strategic Energy Transition: Navigating the Post-Malampaya Era” where she shared the strategic role of natural gas in the Philippine energy transitions to cleaner fuel. Atty. Pilares also discussed how the Philippine Natural Gas Industry Development Act (RA No. 12120) removes decades of statutory ambiguity, providing a clear legal framework and investment security for international and domestic capital.
At the Offshore Wind Asia expo, Atty. Ramos-Pilares discussed the government incentives under the Renewable Energy Act of 2008 and the major RE policies and programs of the Department of Energy (DOE). She also shared about the 10-year DOE Auction Plan, including opportunities for the offshore wind sector.
Atty. Ramos-Pilares is co-head of DivinaLaw’s Energy practice group and a member of the Executive Board for the Philippine Energy Research and Policy Institute.
