
The Ukraine–Philippines Business Forum was held recently in Makati City, drawing more than 65 representatives from various sectors, including private companies, government agencies, business associations, financial institutions, and law firms from the two countries.
The forum was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Philippines, with support from event partners: the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Makati Business Club, and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Her Excellency Yuliia Fediv, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Philippines, was present during the event.
DivinaLaw Senior Partner Atty. Danny E. Bunyi was among the distinguished speakers of the forum, which opened with a video message from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, followed by a speech from Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Undersecretary Ceferino S. Rodolfo.
Atty. Bunyi, the head of DivinaLaw’s corporate practice, discussed the requirements for doing business in the Philippines and took part in a panel discussion which explored the opportunities for expanding bilateral economic cooperation in agri-food, information technology, defense, and creative industry sectors.
