International law firm Bird & Bird has recently advised Danish IT company itm8 Holding A/S on the acquisition of all shares in the German limited liability company C.B.C. Computer Business Center GmbH, Frankfurt (“CBC“) with its German subsidiary itm8 Germany Holding GmbH (“itm8“). The closing of the transaction is subject to merger control clearance.
Steered by private equity funds Axcel (Axcel Fund VI), whose general partner is Axcel VI GP Aps, itm8 is a leading player in the IT sector by enabling solutions for cloud services, digital transformation, application services, and cyber security. The Axcel funds specialise in investments in medium-sized companies in the Nordic region. This investment expands itm8’s and Axcel’s footprint in Germany.
CBC is active in the development of software and the provision of all services required for the design and maintenance of IT systems, in particular managed service on demand (software) as well as the trade, rental, maintenance and servicing of computers and IT components (hardware).
