International law firm Bird & Bird today appoints technology expert Hélder Santos as its new Head of LegalTech and Innovation.
Hélder has extensive expertise in delivering digital transformations for clients with a range of experience working with diverse teams and practices internationally. Based in Bird & Bird’s Frankfurt office, he will focus on driving the firm’s efforts on current and future LegalTech solutions across its international offices. He will work closely with the firm’s international leadership team, including global executive committee member and technology and data expert, Sven-Erik Heun.
Hélder’s appointment is part of Bird & Bird’s strategic focus to continue to expand the firm’s expertise in providing technology enabled solutions within the business and enhancing client service. He joins the firm from KPMG Law where he was Head of LegalTech Solutions, and prior to that, headed the IT & Digital team at CMS.
