Linklaters has advised thyssenkrupp AG and TKMS AG & Co. KGaA on the spin-off and stock exchange listing of its marine business TKMS. The limited partnership shares of TKMS AG & Co. KGaA were listed yesterday in the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. As part of the spin-off, 49 percent of TKMS limited partnership shares were to the existing shareholders of thyssenkrupp AG. Shareholders of thyssenkrupp AG received one limited partnership share in the new TKMS AG & Co. KGaA for every 20 shares of thyssenkrupp AG. thyssenkrupp AG will continue to hold a majority share of 51 percent in TKMS AG & Co. KGaA after the spin-off.
The stock market debut marks the completion of TKMS spin-off from thyssenkrupp AG as a separate, publicly traded company.
