Cynthia Chung and Machiuanna Chu, Co-Heads of Corporate Commercial Group at Deacons, are pleased to announce the expansion of the team with the lateral appointment of Jeff Lee as a Partner, effective 2 January 2026. This strategic addition further enhances the firm’s ability to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Jeff has extensive experience in a wide range of cross-border corporate and commercial transactions in the Greater China and Asia Pacific regions, including merger and acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, debt financing and corporate restructurings. His clients include major corporate entities, state owned enterprises, private equity funds, financial institutions and asset managers.
Prior to joining Deacons, Jeff practiced with another international US law firm for over 10 years.
