Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Srijan Technologies Private Limited (Srijan), a worldwide digital engineering firm and its founder and CEO, Mr. Rahul Dewan, on the acquisition of 100 percent shareholding of Srijan by Material Holdings, LLC (Material), by way of a share purchase. Srijan is one of the world’s leading Drupal service providers, with over 600 digital and data engineers in India. Mr. Rahul Dewan also serves on the board of the Drupal Association. This transaction marks Material’s first acquisition in India.
The General Corporate Practice of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Srijan and its founder and CEO for the transaction and assisted with structuring, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing the transaction documents. The team also assisted in providing general advisory on the Indian regulatory issues affecting the proposed transaction. The Transaction team was led by Ritika Rathi, Partner; along with Sreetama Sen, Principal Associate; with support from Nooreen Haider, Senior Associate; and Yash Jain, Associate.
