Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as legal counsel to GMR Vishakhapatnam International Airport Limited (GMR Visakhapatnam) with respect to selection of the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the construction of the greenfield airport situated at Bhogapuram, Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh (Airport).
The Project and Project Finance team of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised on the matter. Our role involved (a) advise on the bidding process including drafting of the invitation to expression of interest (EOI), invitation to tender (RFP), preparing responses to the bidders queries and issuance of clarifications and addendum basis bidders queries; and (b) drafting, reviewing, revising, finalising and execution of the engineering, procurement and construction contract.

The agreement was signed on 1st November 2023.
