The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Innovation & Entrepreneurship, organised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Foundation, took place from March 17 to March 21, 2025, at AIC IIT Delhi Sonipat.
The 5-day event brought together 50 participants, including faculty members, incubation managers, innovators, and entrepreneurs, aiming to enhance their innovation and entrepreneurial skills.
On March 21, Avi Garg, Partner at LEXORBIS, conducted an insightful session on Intellectual Property (IP) for Startups, covering the various types of IP, including patents, copyrights, and trademarks, and their significance for startups. The session emphasised the importance of supporting students in protecting their intellectual property and featured real-world examples and case studies from early-stage startups to illustrate how intellectual property can drive business growth.
