International law firm Bird & Bird relocated its Tokyo office to Takanawa Gateway City, one of Japan’s most forward-looking new urban developments, on 3 August. The move reinforces the firm’s long-term commitment to the Japanese market and to supporting Japanese companies expanding in Asia Pacific and globally.

Takanawa Gateway City is a large-scale redevelopment project led by JR EAST as part of the transformation of the Takanawa Gateway Station area, transforming the area around Takanawa Gateway Station into a hub for international business and next-generation urban living.
