The agreement on mutual exemption from visa requirements dated 17th May 2023 between the governments of Kazakhstan and China entered into force on 10 November 2023. Under this regulation, Kazakhstanis travelling to the People’s Republic of China are exempt from visa requirements for private business, tourism, medical treatment, international travel, business purposes and transit. The period of stay of citizens on the territory of the two states should not exceed 30 days from the moment of crossing the border and a total of 90 calendar days within 180 days.
