K&L Gates has again been recognized in Global Data Review’s GDR 100, a ranking of the world’s best data law firms. Now in its second year, the GDR 100 is the only global ranking that captures the capabilities, track record, and market reputation of the leading firms in the field. The ranking is based on in-depth submissions by hundreds of law firms around the world.
K&L Gates lawyers recognized in the 2022 GDR 100 include Melbourne partner Cameron Abbott and Paris partner Claude-Étienne Armingaud (both already present in the inaugural 2021 editions), as well as Chicago partner Daniel Farris, and Seattle partner Shannan Frisbie.
K&L Gates has more than 60 lawyers working on data-related issues around the world with a full suite of services, including data breach prevention and response, privacy compliance and assistance on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and specialized services focused on emerging areas such as biometric data compliance and defense.
K&L Gates’ IP practice has more than 200 lawyers and professionals – including more than 100 registered patent lawyers, agents, and technology specialists with technical or advanced science degrees, nearly 30 with doctorates – who devote their practices to helping clients establish, enforce, and leverage their intellectual property rights worldwide.
