Linklaters acted as the Hong Kong and US counsel for the joint sponsors and underwriters on the global offering and listing of H shares of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), raising approximately US$4.6bn. This landmark listing marks not only the largest “A+H” IPO on HKEX in recent years, but also the largest IPO in Hong Kong SAR since 2021 and is the world’s largest IPO so far this year.
CATL is a globally leading innovative new energy technology company, primarily engaged in the research, development, production, and sales of EV and ESS batteries.
