Malaysia – VentureTECH’s Investments In Recove Group Sdn Bhd And Edote Sdn Bhd

Our Partner, Chin Lit Fwu, together with our Legal Associates, Dhyaneswar Ravindran and Chua Jingle from our Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group, are pleased to have acted for VentureTECH Sdn Bhd in connection with its investments in Recove Group Sdn Bhd (“Recove“) and Edote Sdn Bhd (“Edote“), as part of VentureTECH’s broader strategic investment initiative involving three Bumiputera-led technology companies with a total investment value of RM28 million. Recove is a medical technology commercialisation platform focused on bringing research-driven healthcare innovations to market, while Edote is an assistive technology company focused on improving digital accessibility for the visually impaired community.

Recove has successfully commercialised NEORUBIN®, a non-invasive newborn jaundice screening device, while Edote developed eBrelle, which has been described as the first standalone Braille laptop in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Together, the investments reflect VentureTECH’s continued support for innovative Malaysian technology companies operating in the healthcare technology and digital accessibility sectors.
