A forum entitled “Sustainable Path to Water Security for the Philippines” was held. It followed a hybrid format allowing guests to attend in-person at Fairmont Hotel, Makati City and online through Zoom. The forum was led by Water.org and co-sponsored by ACCRALAW, Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), and Management Association of the Philippines (MAP).
ACCRALAW Managing Partner and Senior Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad delivered one of the Welcome Remarks, while Partner Eric R. Recalde served as one of the forum’s panelists. Of Counsels Eusebio V. Tan and Teresita J. Herbosa also participated as moderators for the panel discussions.
The forum was organized to “increase the awareness and appreciation on the need to take immediate action on a very basic and universal issue, water security.” The various sessions revolved around the landscapes and challenges in achieving water security, possible market-driven solutions, as well as relevant legislation on the issue.
In celebration of ACCRALAW’s 50th Anniversary this year, ACCRALAW launched its Corporate and Social Responsibility Department. ACCRALAW is committed to provide pro bono legal services to its partner organizations, including Water.org.
