DivinaLaw Senior Partner Atty. Ian Jerny E. De Leon recently shared the legal challenges of implementing the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the workplace in an event organized by the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AMCHAM Philippines).
Attended by human resource professionals, business executives, and members of the academe, the discussion covered key topics such as data privacy, anti-discrimination laws, ethical concerns, and the importance of maintaining fairness and transparency in AI-driven HR processes.
Atty. De Leon’s lecture was followed by a Question-and-Answer segment moderated by Mr. Ernie Cecilia, co-chair of the Human Capital and Resources Committee of AMCHAM Philippines. Mr. Ebb Hinchlife, AMCHAM Philippines executive director, delivered the welcome remarks.
