ACCRALAW contributed the Philippine chapter of Chambers and Partners Practice Guide on Enforcement of Judgments for 2022. The chapter was authored by Senior Partner Oliver L. Pantaleon and Senior Associate Charlemagne Rae P. Chavez.
The chapter discussed, among others, the determination of another party’s asset position, asset freezing, the enforcement of domestic and foreign judgments, satisfaction by levy, and garnishment of debts and credits. The authors also discussed the remedies to challenge the enforcement of judgments, as well as legal issues concerning the enforcement of arbitral awards.
ACCRALAW’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department handles matters involving enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. This practice department is headed by Mr. Pantaleon and assisted by Partner Patricia Tysmans-Clemente.
ACCRALAW has a consistent and outstanding track record in handling high-value and complex commercial, administrative, civil, and criminal cases, and has represented both domestic and foreign parties in various courts, administrative bodies, and other quasi-judicial agencies.
