DivinaLaw Managing Partner Atty. Nilo T. Divina recently led the launch of the 2024 edition of his books “Questions & Answers on the Revised Corporation Code” and the “Divina Compendious Bar Review Series” in a program held at the University of Santo Tomas (UST). The gathering was also a celebration of Atty. Divina’s birthday.
The event was attended by UST Rector Rev. Fr. Richard G. Ang, UST Civil Law Regent Fr. Isidro C. Abaño, Legal Education Board Chairperson Atty. Anna Marie Melanie B. Trinidad, and Dean Teodoro A. Pastrana, President of the Philippine Association of Law Schools (PALS).
The Divina Bar Review Series is a collection of reviewers on the subjects covered in the Bar, namely: Civil Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Labor Law, Legal Ethics, Political Law, Remedial Law, and Taxation Law. Atty. Divina shares co-authorship of the series with over 50 lawyers of DivinaLaw.
“Questions & Answers on the Revised Corporation Code” is a comprehensive compendium of the jurisprudence on corporation law, SEC opinions, and other legal resource materials written in simple and concise language.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the books will be donated to PALS. Atty. Divina, the Dean of the UST Faculty of Civil Law, will also donate copies of the Divina Bar Review Series to the 4th year graduating students of UST Civil Law.
“I add these to my birthday wishes: I pray that this 2024 series, as well as the 2024 edition of the RCC book, will be another best-selling publication,” said Atty. Divina.
“More importantly, I pray that this series will help more future lawyers pass and ace the 2024 Bar Exam. We aspire that the future editions will be filled with testimonials from Bar passers sharing their insights on how the Review Series helped them in their Bar preparation journey.”
