Led by Managing Partner Atty. Nilo T. Divina, the Firm recently attended the 19th National Convention of Lawyers organized by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) and held from February 16 to February 18, 2023 in Davao City.
Senior Partner Atty. Enrique V. Dela Cruz, Jr. spoke about “Resolving the Sugar and Spice (Onions) Crisis through International Trade Law” during the second day of the convention.
The National Convention brings together lawyers from all over the country to update its members of recent legal developments, strengthen camaraderie, and foster cooperation between and among the different regions of the IBP. This year’s event was graced by Supreme Court Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo who was guest of honor and keynote speaker. Vice President Sara Z. Duterte delivered the welcome remarks during the fellowship night.
