DivinaLaw lawyers recently attended the press launch of Pilipinas Offshore Wind Energy Resource, Inc. (POWER) – a Philippine-based offshore wind industry organization formed by six developers from global and local markets.
Energy companies ACEN Corporation, The Blue Circle, BlueFloat Energy, Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation, Ignis ZA Global, and Marubeni Asian Power Philippines Corporation are the founding members of POWER.
The event was hosted by DivinaLaw Senior Partner Atty. Jay Layug who also delivered the welcome remarks. No less than Department of Energy (DOE) Sec. Raphael P.M. Lotilla graced the event as speaker.
Touted as the newest alternative to deliver renewable energy, offshore wind is an energy and climate solution that can help solve the ongoing power crisis and drive economic growth and promote energy security.
