“Commended External Counsels of the Year – these awards honor private practice lawyers who have gone above and beyond to support in-house counsels,” said Mr. Rahul Prakash, publisher of the In-House Community magazine, in his introduction for awardees.
Among the awardees are three DivinaLaw lawyers – senior partners Atty. Enrique V. Dela Cruz Jr., Atty. Danny E. Bunyi, and Atty. Cybill B. Uytiepo.
The recognition was based on votes and glowing testimonials from in-house counsels in the Philippines and abroad.
The In-House Community is comprised of over 21,000 in-house lawyers and those with a responsibility for legal and compliance issues within organizations in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East.
Atty. Bunyi was also a Commended External Counsel of the Year in 2019, 2021, and 2022-2023. Atty. Dela Cruz also received the same award in 2022-2023. This is Atty. Uytiepo’s first recognition from In-House Community.
