DivinaLaw Senior Partner Atty. Jay Layug joined as a panelist at the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP)’s luncheon meeting with Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center Executive Director Ma. Cynthia Hernandez held last April 18, 2024 at Dusit Thani Manila, Makati City. Atty. Layug discussed the strategies necessary for the successful implementation of renewable energy and waste-to-energy projects through PPPs, with specific emphasis on Joint Venture (JV) agreements.
During the open forum, several key questions were addressed regarding the intersection of renewable energy projects and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), such as the emerging trends in renewable energy technology, and implementation strategies for RE and waste-to-energy.
The ECCP is a bilateral foreign chamber that promotes European interests in the Philippines and vice versa. DivinaLaw is a member of the ECCP since 2018.
