DivinaLaw brings home two gold Stevies for winning in the 19th Annual International Business Awards (IBAs), one of the world’s premier business awards.
Managing Partner Atty. Nilo T. Divina adds another feather to his cap as he was named the legal industry’s Executive of the Year for doing “marvels for his organization, his people and his profession amidst the pandemic” according to one of the judges. Meanwhile, the Firm’s 2021 video series DivinaLaw’s Bar Exams Success Tips (DL’s BEST), produced by its Corporate Affairs and Business Development Office (CADBO) won in the Social Video category. The campaign was described by a judge as “a true intervention for students, who were fighting uncertainty and hence anxious due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Atty. Nilo together with DivinaLaw lawyers Atty. Edwin C. Uy, Atty. Rhegine T. Peralta, Atty. Ciselie Marie T. Gamo-Sisayan, and CABDO Director Cheer Mae V. Ecarma accepted the awards during the awards banquet held at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel in London, England on October 15.
DivinaLaw is the first and only law firm in the Philippines to receive the prestigious awards. It is also the only law firm recognized in this year’s awards.
Known as “the International Stevies,” the IBAs honor the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. This year’s winners were culled from more than 3,700 nominations from 71 countries, judged by more than 300 executives.
