A seasoned election law expert and former Commissioner of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) from 2009 to 2011, Atty. Atty. Larrazabal was chairman of the COMELEC steering committee, which oversaw the successful conduct of the Philippines’ first nationwide automated elections. Throughout his tenure in public service, he worked closely with multi-sectoral teams to improve the integrity and efficiency of the electoral process.
Beyond his work in government, Atty. Larrazabal has remained a strong advocate for voter empowerment, continuing his efforts to raise civic awareness and promote democratic participation well after his time in COMELEC.
