Sharmilla Bhima Partner of Appleby Mauritius, has specialised in international arbitration. She has been developing her arbitration practice since she formed part of the Appleby team who helped set up the then LCIA-MIAC Arbitration Centre in Mauritius and becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK and as one of the contributing authors for Lexis Nexis, representing Appleby on the Mauritian chapter of International Arbitration. She is an arbitrator on both the (i) MARC Panel of Arbitrators of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry(‘MARC’) and (ii) Mauritius International Arbitration Centre * (‘MIAC’).
