Sidley represented Caidya, a leading global mid-sized CRO, in its US$165 million strategic growth investment from funds managed by Rubicon Founders, a U.S.-based healthcare investment firm focused on building and growing transformational companies.
The investment will support the next phase of Caidya’s growth story, enabling continued organic expansion along with exploration of strategic acquisitions.
The Sidley team was led by partner Ruchun Ji. Other team members included partner Feifei Bian, senior managing associate Jing Peng, and China advisor Pan Chen. Partners Olivia Ngan, Andrew Shoyer and senior managing associate Jonathan Westreich also provided support.
In a separate transaction, Sidley also advised Caidya in connection with its credit facilities with a global banking institution. The Sidley team was led by partners Olivia Ngan, Ruchun Ji, and included managing associate Kelly Lam and legal manager Kenny Wong.
