Sidley is pleased to announce that Alun Evans has joined as a partner in Singapore. Prior to joining Sidley, he was a partner at A&O Shearman, where he helped lead their infrastructure M&A practice in the APAC region and was co-head of their Philippines Foreign Desk.
Mr. Evans joins the firm’s elite Energy, Transportation, and Infrastructure practice, which has added a number of leading practitioners including Steven Tredennick, Paris Theofanidis, and Stephen Boone (Houston); Greg Lavigne (New York); Andrea Lucan (Los Angeles); and James MacArthur, Ed Freeman, and Ben Thompson (London).
Mr. Evans advises a broad range of private companies, infrastructure funds, and sponsors, investing in various infrastructure-focused businesses such as data centers, toll roads, and energy businesses. He has a highly regarded M&A practice with more than 20 years’ experience in the energy and infrastructure (including digital infrastructure), energy transition, financial services, and healthcare sectors.
