Singapore – Linklaters Guides Addison Lee Sale to ComfortDelGro.
Linklaters has guided the shareholders of Addison Lee, London’s renowned premium private hire, courier, and black taxi service, in selling their entire stake to ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited, based in Singapore.
This transaction will act as a catalyst for ComfortDelGro’s expansion into a promising premium mobility segment, enhancing its point-to-point offerings in the UK. It will expand its global taxi and private hire network to over 34,000 vehicles.
The deal team was co-led by Private Equity partner Andrew Lynch and Corporate M&A partner Namrata Shah, alongside Banking partner Nick Le Masurier, Litigation partner Rory Conway, Tax partner Alexei Franks, Private Equity managing associate William Peck and Corporate M&A associate Monique Fraser.
