SSEK Law Firm is pleased to announce the appointment of Maria Yudhitama Eka Dewi and Aldilla Stephanie Suwana as Partners of the firm, effective January 1, 2026. Their promotions reflect SSEK’s continued commitment to developing exceptional talent and strengthening its core practice areas.
Maria Yudhitama Eka Dewi advises clients on corporate transactions, insurance, banking and finance, capital markets, M&A, and general corporate matters. She is known for providing clear, commercially focused advice and has acted for leading Indonesian and international companies across various industries.
Prior to joining SSEK, Maria worked at the Indonesian Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Board (Bapepam-LK) under the Ministry of Finance, the predecessor to the Financial Services Authority (OJK). In this role, she was involved in the regulation and supervision of capital markets and financial institutions, gaining valuable insight into Indonesia’s regulatory framework and enforcement practices.
Maria earned her Master of Laws in international financial law from King’s College London.
Aldilla Stephanie Suwana joined SSEK in 2018. Her practice focuses on energy and natural resources, environmental law and climate change, as well as general corporate matters, real estate and foreign investment, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and foreign direct investment. She is highly regarded for her solution-driven, business-oriented approach and regularly advises leading Indonesian and international companies across multiple sectors, including numerous state-owned enterprises.
Prior to joining SSEK, Aldilla held senior roles within the Indonesian government, where she was involved in sustainable fisheries development, climate change mitigation initiatives, and the implementation of Indonesia’s REDD+ framework. She also served as legal counsel to the Presidential Task Force on the Eradication of Illegal Fishing and as legal counsel and assistant to the Minister/Head of the National REDD+ Agency.
Aldilla received her Master of Laws in environmental law and policy from Harvard Law School, where she studied as a Fulbright Scholar.
