SSEK Law Firm, with Kim & Chang, an international law firm headquartered in Seoul, and the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Indonesia (“KoCham Indonesia”), recently held a joint seminar for Korean companies on “Key Compliance Issues in Indonesia, with a Focus on Privacy Laws, Compliance Systems, and Digital Forensics.”
The seminar provided an overview of Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection (PDP) Law and how it may affect the operations of Korean companies, such as the handling of personal data of customers and workers. It also covered key compliance issues of particular relevance to Korean companies in Indonesia and provided practical guidance on how to prevent and identify internal misconduct.
