SSEK Law Firm partner Nico A.P. Mooduto was a featured speaker at the China–Indonesia International E-Commerce Industry Expo, in a session titled “Practical Insight into Commercial Contracts: Tipping the Balance.”
The event was organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the ICC Centre of Entrepreneurship (COE), in collaboration with the Indonesian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Indonesia).
Nico discussed the legal framework governing commercial contracts, highlighting the risks and potential consequences of engaging in international transactions without clear contractual terms. The session also provided practical guidance on identifying contractual imbalances and applying effective negotiation strategies to achieve fairer, more equitable agreements.
Nico was joined on the panel by Wincen Santoso, partner at Santoso, Martinus & Muliawan Advocates, and Fakhridho SBP Susilo, executive director of Katadata Insight Center (KIC).
