SSEK Law Firm founding partner Ira A. Eddymurthy and partner Stephen Igor Warokka will speak at the upcoming Annual Conference of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) in New Delhi, India.
Ira will provide an Indonesian perspective on the Day 2 panel “Evolvement of FDI National Security Review Regimes in a Segmented World,” scheduled for Friday, February 27.
The session will examine the proliferation of foreign direct investment (FDI) national security review regimes worldwide and the increasingly sophisticated cross-border strategies required for early risk identification and effective legal counsel. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Till Kosche, partner at Noerr PartG mbB in Frankfurt, Germany.
Stephen will participate in the Day 3 panel “Cross-Border Employment Investigations – Data Protection and Other Legal and Regulatory Pitfalls.”
The discussion will address recent developments in employment-related data transfers, key considerations during and after internal investigations, and evolving whistleblower and anti-retaliation protections. The panel will be moderated by Vivek Daswaney, partner at Economic Laws Practice (ELP) in India.
