SyCipLaw won the Philippine Law Firm of the Year Award in the Legal 500 Southeast Asia Awards 2026. The Firm took home the same award in 2023 and was cited as the Antitrust & Competition Team of the Year in 2020.
Partner Arlene M. Maneja accepted the award on behalf of the Firm at the awards ceremony on April 30, 2026, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Singapore.
The Firm was also shortlisted in six regional categories at this year’s awards: Capital Markets Firm of the Year, Projects and Energy Firm of the Year, Shipping and Transaction Firm of the Year, TMT Firm of the Year, Innovative Firm of the Year, and ESG Firm of the Year. Senior Partner and Head of the Firm’s Employment and Immigration Department Leslie C. Dy was also shortlisted for the regional Labour and Employment Lawyer of the Year award.
The awarding ceremony was hosted by Legal 500 in partnership with Mondaq and In-House Counsel Worldwide. Winners were selected through a rigorous evaluation process based on independent research, highlighting each firm’s distinctive strengths and market positioning, and assessed by a panel with deep cross-jurisdictional and practice area expertise.
