Local communities supported through a series of tree planting and other environmental initiatives.
Appleby is proud to have supported local communities across its global network of offices through a series of tree planting and other environmental initiatives over the past 12 months.
In alignment with World Environment Day and to demonstrate its commitment to environmental stewardship, Appleby is delighted to have partnered with organisations and charitable groups in a number of its global locations to plant hundreds of trees over the past year, take part in litter clean-ups and to support conservation projects that benefit the local communities in which the Group operates.
As a Planet Mark Certified Business, Appleby is committed to reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices in its operations and also proud of the role the firm has to play in supporting community initiatives and charitable causes that support positive, sustainable outcomes for generations to come.
Appleby Group Managing Partner Malcolm Moller said: “I am delighted that so many of our colleagues have been able to take advantage of volunteering days to get involved with local tree planting initiatives, litter clean-ups and other environmental projects. These endeavours are a testament to our team’s dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility. On World Environment Day, we are pleased to reaffirm our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and protecting our planet. Through our Planet Mark certification, regular tree planting, litter clean-ups and other conservational initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful contribution to environmental sustainability.”
