The USAID’s Trade Central Asia Activity recently organised its 13th annual Central Asia Trade Forum, themed “Trade Connections: Bridging Globally,” held from May 14th to May 16th, 2024. The event attracted over 300 delegates, comprising business executives and government officials from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
For years, Unicase Law Firm has been working on USAID’s various projects, including initiatives such as “Power the Future,” as well as assisting with the improvement of conditions for investment in Hydroelectric Power Plants Construction in Kazakhstan, and enhancing the legislative framework for competitive procurement for renewable energy projects in the CA countries.
Representatives from Unicase Law Firm, including Nurai Alisher, Artem Timoshenko, Yerken Mukash, and Saniya Perzadayeva, were glad to participate in the event. The Central Asia Trade Forum (CATF) provided an excellent platform for establishing collaborative efforts to enhance trade dynamics within the region.
The conference featured insightful sessions, facilitating dialogues and knowledge exchange on critical themes shaping trade landscapes. Delegates explored topics such as digitalization, transport infrastructure, logistics optimization, regulatory harmonization, adherence to World Trade Organisation standards, and mitigating trade impediments within Central Asia.
