International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Better Collective on its acquisition of Skycon Limited, expanding its efforts within digital display advertising, for a total consideration of up to £45m on a cash and debt free basis, including an upfront cash consideration of £25m, plus £20m in earn outs.
Skycon Limited is a global display advertising company specialising in an ‘audience-based’ approach. It primarily focuses on paid advertising on channels such as sports media, which perfectly complements Better Collective’s Paid Media division.
The Bird & Bird team was led by Simon Fielder (partner, Corporate), Ben Simon (associate, Corporate) and Dean Rae (associate, Corporate). Also assisting from the firm’s Tax team were Zoe Feller (partner, Tax) and Emily Patel (associate, Tax).
