Hill Dickinson has advised the shareholders of independent accountancy firm DTE Business Advisers on sale of the business to DJH Mitten Clarke.
DTE Business Advisers, which has offices in Manchester city centre and Altrincham in Greater Manchester, is DJH Mitten Clarke’s sixth acquisition this year and gives the top 50 accountancy group a total of 10 offices across the North West, Midlands and Yorkshire.
Leading on the provision of legal advice to DTE Business Advisers was Sean Lightfoot of Hill Dickinson’s Manchester Corporate team, together with senior associate Olivia Jones and paralegal Abi Hill.
Commenting on the deal, Sean Lightfoot said:
“The approach from DJH Mitten Clark provided the perfect strategic opportunity for DTE to expand its services and invest in its people as part of a larger group. We were delighted to act as adviser to the company’s shareholders and guide them through the complexities of the entire legal process to reach a successful outcome for both parties.”
Directors Fiona O’Loughlin, George Lovell, Matt Beckley, Richard Bell and Richard Taylor will continue to lead the team at DTE Business Advisers as a newly portfolio company within the DJH Mitten Clarke accountancy group.
