Law firm Hill Dickinson has advised the Warrington-based occupational health and wellbeing specialist PAM Group on the strategic acquisition of an Irish wellbeing business for an undisclosed sum.
In the LDC-backed firm’s third acquisition of 2023, PAM Group has bought Corporate Health Ireland (CHI), a 100-strong wellbeing business that will allow it to expand its geographical footprint and support its target of reaching £80 million in turnover in the next few years; up from £45 million in 2022.
CHI provides consultant-led occupational health services, including medical assessments, health surveillance, absence management and flu vaccinations across Ireland from clinics in Dublin, Cork, Waterford and Limerick. Established in 1996, it has annual revenues of €11 million.
James Redshaw said: “PAM Group’s acquisition of Corporate Health Ireland represents yet another exciting step in the growth of this business. We are long-term advisers to the team at PAM Group and, now, with its acquisition of CTI, we’re delighted to see the business further expand its footprint into Ireland.
“Our Corporate team at Hill Dickinson has a solid track record in advising fast-growth businesses throughout their life cycle and it is always a pleasure to see a UK business successfully establish itself in new territories. We wish the newly expanded Group every success.”
Under the terms of the deal, CHI will retain its brand identity and will continue to be led by Dr Sheelagh O’Brien in Dublin and Dr Martin Hogan in Cork.
