Leadership Council on Legal Diversity has selected Sima Namiri-Kalantari as a member of its 2024 class of Fellows. In addition, associates Roy Abernathy and Ashleigh Kaspari have been named to the LCLD 2024 class of Pathfinders.
LCLD’s landmark Fellows and Pathfinder programs are designed for high-potential, mid- and early-career attorneys, respectively, from diverse backgrounds and at LCLD Member organizations. The goal of both programs is to provide participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, leadership skills, and career development strategies applicable to both in-house and law firm practice. Once completed, the programs boast a national alumni network of 4,000+, offering national, regional, and local opportunities for networking and substantive leadership-development training.
- Namiri-Kalantari, a LA-based partner in the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Group, serves as a strategic advocate in cases that require a comprehensive legal approach. She has significant experience representing companies in civil litigation related to price fixing, monopolization, market allocation, no-poach allegations, and other issues.
- Abernathy, a Washington, D.C.-based associate in the firm’s Advertising and Brand Protection and Litigation groups, represents clients in complex matters in both federal and arbitral forums. His experience and practice enable him to provide strategic solutions for brand protection counseling, regulatory compliance before the Federal Trade Commission and National Advertising Division, and navigation of related litigation.
- Kaspari, a Denver-based associate in the firm’s Litigation Group, focuses on a wide array of industries, including telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and consumer products. Clients turn to her for counseling and representation in state and federal court in complex commercial business disputes and other litigation matters, as well as in regulatory compliance before state and federal regulatory agencies.
Crowell is a longstanding member of LCLD, through which we have sponsored high-potential and diverse cohorts of partners, counsel, associates, and summer associates in a variety of pipeline programs that have provided leadership training and development opportunities. Ellen Dwyer, a member of Crowell’s Executive Committee and Management Board, is the Immediate Past Chair of LCLD’s Board of Directors. In addition to the Fellows and Pathfinder programs, the firm is a regular participant in LCLD’s 1L Scholars and Success in Law School Mentoring programs.
