The Daily Journal has named Crowell & Moring’s Amy Karnikian to its “Top 40 Under 40” list for 2026. The annual list recognizes leading California lawyers under the age of 40 for their achievements, impact, and promise within the legal profession.

Karnikian is a nationally recognized leader in aviation law who has built a reputation over more than a decade as a trusted advisor to airlines, cargo operators, manufacturers, investment firms, and emerging technology companies navigating the complexities of commercial and business aviation.
Karnikian regularly advises on transactional matters including leasing, timeshare, and fractional ownership agreements, as well as aircraft maintenance contracts with OEMs and MROs, supply chain, and in flight connectivity agreements. Amy also advises commercial space clients on transactional and regulatory matters.
Beyond her practice, Karnikian is deeply committed to advancing the legal profession and the aviation industry. She recently served as an executive committee member and continues to be involved with the Armenian Women’s Bar Association. She also contributes to Loyola Law School through panel discussions and targeted mentorship and is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Air & Space Law and frequently writes on emerging aviation law topics.
