Intellectual Asset Management recognized Crowell & Moring in its IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners guide, awarding the firm a gold band ranking as one of the top four firms handling patent litigation and transactions in Belgium, and a silver ranking for the firm’s Chicago office. This marks the ninth consecutive year that the firm has been ranked in the guide in Belgium. The guide also recommended Brussels partner Kristof Roox in the gold band; partner Jan-Diederik Lindemans in the silver band; and senior counsel Jurgen Figys in the bronze band.
IAM notes that the firm is “the go-to outfit in Belgium for generic pharmaceutical companies [and] provides sterling litigation counsel and receives glowing feedback as a result.”
The guide also quotes a firm client: “Unsurpassed in terms of its satisfaction rate, C&M’s team is extremely knowledgeable, hands-on and sharp. Their approach is professional but not stuffy, and they can effectively build bridges across European countries.”
In Chicago, IAM noted that the combination of Crowell & Moring and Brinks, Gilson & Lione created “a combination and cross-disciplinary approach that is compelling to global leaders in technological innovation.”
IAM Patent 1000 conducts over 1,800 interviews with in-house counsel and other lawyers to gather market intelligence on leading firms and individuals and develop its recognitions.
