Linklaters is pleased to announce that Investment Funds Counsel Mike Dankis and Energy & Infrastructure Counsel Will Kim, both based in our New York office, have been named to The M&A Advisor’s 2023 Emerging Leaders list.
Mike advises private investment funds, including private equity funds, real estate and infrastructure funds, credit and special situations funds, and hedge funds with respect to formation, marketing, operation, and investment and management activities. Mike also represents institutional investors, including large U.S. pension schemes and sovereign wealth funds, in connection with their investments in private equity funds, debt funds, hedge funds, and other investment partnerships, as well as on the disposal of such investments on the secondary market.
Will advises project sponsors, financial institutions and other project participants on the development and financing of domestic and cross-border energy, infrastructure, and LNG projects, with a focus on the renewables and energy transition sectors. Will spent several years as an associate in Linklaters’ Hong Kong office and as a banking associate at a top-tier firm in Australia. He was also seconded to Linklaters’ Nakhoda team in London as a product manager building and delivering bespoke technological solutions for clients.
The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition and presentation of leading M&A, financing and turnaround professionals, created this recognition awards program to promote mentorship and professional development amongst the emerging leaders of corporate finance and dealmaking industries. Mike and Will were chosen from a pool of prominent nominees for their notable accomplishments in business and in service to the community. They will be recognized at The M&A Advisor’s 2023 Dealmaking Leadership Summit in September.
