Crain’s New York Business named Crowell & Moring partner Sarah Gilbert to its Notable Litigators and Trial Attorneys 2025 list. The honorees named by the publication “are a talented cohort, shaping precedent and advocating for their clients across industries and issues. They exercise the law in manifold ways: upholding contractual rights for major banks, negotiating settlements, defeating securities litigation, challenging questionable Medicaid reimbursement methodologies and more. Our honorees are also active in pro bono work and in industry associations.”
Gilbert is co-chair of Crowell’s Litigation Group. She handles complex commercial disputes, from pre-litigation through appeal, with a focus on antitrust and financial services matters. Her work includes serving as lead counsel for multiple Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies in antitrust multidistrict litigation that includes over 50 class actions asserted by physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers.
On behalf of financial services clients, Gilbert manages high-stakes litigation matters, including those related to corporate transactions, financial products, business torts, and asset sale disputes. She also represents clients across a range of industries—including food, telecom, consumer products, insurance, and technology—in significant class actions.
