The Los Angeles Times B2B Publishing has named Crowell & Moring partners Jennifer S. Romano and Agustin D. Orozco to their list of 2024 Legal Visionaries. The list recognizes stand-out attorneys in Southern California for their “commitment to excellence, thought leadership and impactful contributions to both their clients and the broader legal community.”
Romano is co-chair of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department and a member of the firm’s Management Board. She defends clients against consumer class actions and in high stakes commercial litigation. She recently obtained a defense judgment after a several week class action trial. Romano’s clients include major health plans, retail and consumer products companies, and a major university.
Orozco is a member of the firm’s White Collar and Regulatory and Enforcement and Government Contracts groups, where he represents clients in criminal and civil government investigations and enforcement actions. He also represents and counsels clients on matters involving federal, state, and local government contracts. Prior to rejoining the firm as a partner, Orozco was an assistant U.S. attorney in the Public Corruption & Civil Rights Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.
