The Recorder recognized Crowell & Moring partners Chahira Solh and Sima Namiri-Kalantari at the annual California Legal Awards, held on November 2 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco.
Namiri-Kalantari and Solh were named finalists for the Mentorship Award, which honors mentors and mentees in the legal profession. Additionally, Namiri-Kalantari was named to the publication’s 2023 list of Lawyers on the Fast Track (Under 40). This award recognizes lawyers for their outstanding career accomplishments who are seen as the next generation of legal leaders in California.
Solh, chair of Crowell’s executive committee and a partner in the firm’s Orange County office, serves as a trusted advisor on antitrust issues for a number of the country’s most recognizable companies, including in the auto, aviation, health care, and defense industries. Her practice focuses on all aspects of antitrust law, including litigation and government enforcement actions, joint venture analysis, merger control, and affirmative recovery opportunities. Solh also serves as member of the firm’s Management Board.
Namiri-Kalantari is a partner in Crowell’s Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Group. She is a complex commercial litigator, focusing on antitrust and unfair competition law. Her primary practice includes defending clients in civil antitrust litigation as well as representing Fortune 500 companies as plaintiffs in recovery actions when they have been victims of price-fixing cartels.
