Crowell & Moring partner Toni Michelle Jackson is running as a candidate for the steering committee of the D.C. Bar’s Litigation Community.
Bar members can cast ballots between April 28 and June 1 for the steering committee. The litigation community is one of 20 bar communities. It sponsors educational programs on topics such as pre-trial and trial skills and effective advocacy. In addition, the community comments on proposed court rules and legislation.
Jackson is a partner in Crowell’s Litigation and Labor & Employment groups. A first-chair litigator with extensive jury and bench trial experience, she has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation, including employment, commercial, class actions, internal investigations, and civil rights. Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Jackson served as Deputy Attorney General of the Public Interest Division of the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia.
