The implementation dates are as follows:- From July 1, 2023, for electricity produced at hydroelectric power plants of “Uzbekhydroenergo.”
– From October 1, 2023, for electricity generated by solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources.
Each certificate represents the generation of 1,000 kWh of electricity using renewables. The Ministry of Economy and Finance is responsible for managing the system, including registration, issuance, and accounting of the certificates. These certificates are governed by civil law and can be transferred in accordance with the law.
