Uzbekistan has announced a significant step towards digitalisation with the approval of Decree No. ПП-129, allowing residents of the Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies (IT Park) to enter into online contracts for digitalisation services. Effective from April 1, 2024, this measure aims to facilitate smoother business operations and enhance the country’s digital infrastructure. Under the decree, export contractual documents for digitalisation services, valued up to $100,000, will be recognised as electronic documents, eliminating the need for paper copies.
